year 2010, filled with the art work and poems
of the amazing kids who are born with FD.


	Cure FD Foundation is a non-profit organizarion (501(c)(3)) dedicated to the prevention and cure of Familial Dysautonomia. Started in 2003, we have been on a journey toward one goal, as described in the Foundation Mission Statement. Cure FD Foundation has no paid staff. 97% of all donations go directly to Dr. Berish Rubin. Director of the Laboratory for FD Research at Fordham University in New York.

CURE FD FOUNDATION’S MISSION STATEMENT

Whereas Familial Dysautonomia (FD) is a degenerative, fatal, genetic disease that is present from birth,

And whereas FD leads to daily life-threatening symptoms for the child with FD, and causes great suffering to the affected child and to the family,

And, whereas the FD gene has been discovered and a carrier test is available, and research is well on its way to finding a treatment that will halt the progression of the disease and prevent children with FD from dying,

We of CURE FD FOUNDATION have as our mission the funding of significant research that will lead to the discovery of a treatment and cure for FD.
